DPS searching for wanted man believed to be on Southwest Side

Investigators need the public's help finding a wanted man believed to be on San Antonio's Southwest Side. The Texas Department of Public Safety is looking for 38-year-old Joaquin Salgado, who authorities believe is near the Tesoro Hills area, near Pearsall Park. DPS said Salgado is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender and for human smuggling, assault and terroristic threat. Anyone with information about Salgado's whereabouts is asked to call 210-531-2280.
