Family calls on police to release body cam video of sons shooting death
A San Antonio family is demanding to see police video of the shooting death of their 13-year-old. Lynda Espinoza said her son Andre Hernandez Jr. was "no angel," but he didn't not deserve to be killed. Police say the 13-year-old was in a stolen vehicle and was shot after crashing into a patrol car on Friday. Espinoza said she feels like she's been left in the dark when it comes to details in the case. "Police never notified me. It was the hospital that notified me that my son was at the hospital," she said. Espinoza is also the mother of a 16-year-old girl found shot in the back of a stolen vehicle in May. A suspect has not been arrested in that case, and a motive also remains unclear.
