Boil water notice issued in Lytle for Sunday night as crews repair water, valves

Crews in Lytle will have to work on a water problem that was discovered worse than originally thought when they tried to fix a damaged line. The city said workers discovered two large valves also failed and need to be replaced. Now, crews have to wait until Sunday to start repairs. Starting at 10 p.m. Sunday, the water system will be shut down, and a boil water notice will begin. This is expected to last from Sunday night until Tuesday.
