Repairs underway after water main break on N St. Mary's Street

Repairs are underway on a broken water main on North St. Mary's Street. The break happened around 6 p.m. Saturday near East Woodlawn Avenue, and it impacted local restaurant Tycoon Flats. Fortunately, SAWS crews were able to reduce the water pressure instead of cutting the water off completely, so the business could stay open. District One Councilman Mario Bravo said the break had nothing to do with construction. Instead, old infrastructure is to blame.
