Bill requiring armed security at all Texas schools heads to Gov. Abbott’s desk

A sweeping school security bill has passed the Texas Legislature and now heads to Gov. Greg Abbott's desk. It does not include gun control measures, but instead mandates armed security at every school campus in Texas. Opponents say it's the wrong vision for school safety.
