Before and after photos show dire conditions at popular Texas swimming hole Jacob’s Well

Before drought ➡️ May 2023 ➡️ July 2023: Did you know Jacob's Well has been closed for swimming since last June? Long-term drought has resulted in little-to-no spring flow and unsafe conditions. Groundwater from the Cow Creek formation of the Trinity Aquifer feeds Jacob's Well, and it's monitored by both BSEACD and the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District.
