New Texas law changes jury duty pay, age limits

A new Texas law that took effect on Friday is changing jury duty pay and age limits. Pay for the first day of jury service has now been increased from $6 per day to up to $20 a day. Pay for every continuous day has also increased from $40 a day to $58.
