Wounded Warrior Project hosts Carry Forward 5K to benefit veterans and their families

The Wounded Warrior Project hosted its Carry Forward 5K on Saturday. The unique thing about this race is that participants must carry either a flag, weight, or even another person to symbolize the burden that veterans carry on their shoulders to protect the country. The 5K was held at Mission County Park, with proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project to continue helping veterans and their families.
