NEISD board interviews candidates for District 2 seat, makes no decision during open session

North East ISD is still looking for the right person to fill its vacant board seat after the district interviewed four candidates vying for the District 2 seat during an open session on Monday night. The seat has been open since August, when longtime board member Terri Williams died. The open session concluded without her successor being named. From here, the district could narrow its list of four candidates to two. The person eventually appointed to the seat will serve until the May election.
