Fire union comes out in opposition of rolling back San Antonio city manager salary, tenure caps it helped pass in 2018

The San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association announced Monday, less than a month from the election, that it was officially opposing Proposition C. The proposed charter amendment, one of six on the Nov. 5 ballot, would reverse the caps that voters approved in 2018 after a union-led campaign.
