San Antonio ISD swings for fences in Missions stadium land deal, denies playing ‘hardball’

The San Antonio Independent School District is trying to run up the score in a land deal with the San Antonio Missions and its partners for a 2.3-acre parking lot. SAISD trustees voted 7-0 Monday night on a hefty set of terms for handing over the district’s property, which sits in the middle of the proposed site for a new downtown minor league baseball stadium.
