Bexar County Commissioner Sergio ‘Chico’ Rodriguez toppled by challenger Rebeca ‘Becky’ Clay-Flores in Precinct 1

SAN ANTONIOUpdated at 12 a.m.: Rebeca “Becky” Clay-Flores took a huge lead early Tuesday in the Democratic runoff for Bexar County Commissioner, Precinct 1, to knock out the incumbent, Sergio “Chico” Rodriguez.

With 100% of precincts tallied, Clay-Flores grabbed 61% of the vote compared to 38% for Rodriguez. That’s a difference of nearly 3,500 votes.
