SAN ANTONIO – A powerful cold front has ushered much cooler air into South Texas.
Look for cloudy skies, gusty winds and colder temperatures.

Most areas will see temperatures dipping down into the 40s and upper 30s Tuesday night.
Rain showers will return to the forecast Wednesday as temperatures struggle to warm out of the mid-40s.
By Wednesday evening, some of the higher elevations in the Hill Country could receive a rain-snow mix.

However, with recent warm temperatures and surface temperatures at or above freezing, no accumulation is expected. Impacts are forecast to be minimal.
Precipitation chances continue into Wednesday night before tapering off early Thursday morning.
Clearing skies and warmer temperatures are set to arrive by Friday.
