SAN ANTONIO – As many from across the San Antonio and surrounding areas overcome the winter storm that caused dozens of schools to close on Tuesday, districts are already beginning to announce the decision for Wednesday’s school day.

Here is the list of school closures or delays for Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.

NOTE: Some schools will start on a regular schedule.

**Some districts say they are continuing to monitor weather conditions. As of this update, their schedules are as announced and any changes will be shared on its websites and social media pages**

The list below will be updated throughout the day and morning.

  • All Alamo Heights ISD will start school tomorrow on a regular schedule with the exception of Howard Early Childhood Center.
  • All colleges and satellite campuses in the Alamo Colleges District will be open on Wednesday, Jan. 17 and operating on a normal schedule. 
  • Bandera ISD will delay the start of school at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Blanco ISD will start classes at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • Brackett ISD will be on a 10 a.m. delayed start for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Central Catholic will start at 10 a.m.
  • Comal ISD campuses and departments are on a two-hour delay for Wednesday, Jan. 17
  • Concordia Lutheran School and Child Care Center will resume normal hours on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Cuero ISD announced it will delay the start of school on Wednesday, Jan. 17 for 10 a.m.
  • D'Hanis ISD will start two hours late on Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • Doss CCSD has announced regular school hours for Wednesday, January 17th.  
  • East Central ISD will be open on a normal schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Edgewood ISD will resume classes at normal school hours on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Falls City ISD to run on a normal schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17.  
  • Floresville ISD announced it will delay the start of school by two hours on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Fort Sam Houston ISD will resume normal hours of operation on Wednesday, Jan. 17.   
  • Goliad ISD announced it will delay the start of school on Wednesday, Jan. 17 by two hours and start at 10:00 a.m.
  • Gonzales ISD will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Harlandale ISD schools and offices will be open tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Harmony Public Schools will follow regular schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Heritage Academy in Windcrest will resume school at regular school hours Wednesday January 17. 
  • Hondo ISD will have a two-hour delayed start on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Hunt ISD will start school on time for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Ingram ISD will begin school at a normal time on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Kenedy ISD will have a regular start time on Wednesday, Jan. 17.  
  • KIPP San Antonio Public Schools will open under normal hours on Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • Jourdanton ISD will start school at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Jubilee Academy will resume classes at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Judson ISD schools and offices will be on a normal schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • Karnes City ISD has canceled school for students on Wednesday, Jan. 17, however, staff will report tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
  • The Katherine Anne Porter School will start classes at 11am on Wednesday, January 17th.
  • Kerrville ISD will resume classes on a normal schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Lackland ISD will resume classes on a normal schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Lifegate Christian School in Seguin will not be in session on Wed., Jan. 17th because of poor weather conditions.
  • La Vernia ISD classes will start at their regular times on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Leakey ISD will start school at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Luling ISD will resume classes at the regular schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Marion ISD will have a 2 hour delayed start Wednesday morning. Buses will run on a 2 hour delayed schedule. 
  • Medina ISD will have a delayed start with classes beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Medina Valley ISD will have a two-hour delayed start on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Navarro ISD schools and offices wil have a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • New Braunfels ISD to run on normal schedule Jan. 17
  • New Frontiers Public Schools will resume all classes and school operations at normal start times on Wednesday, Jan. 17.   
  • Northside ISD schools and offices will resume on a regular schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Nixon-Smiley CISD will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • North East ISD schools and offices will resume on a regular schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Our Lady of the Lake University's San Antonio campus will be on a delayed opening on Wednesday, Jan. 17 with morning classes canceled. Offices will open at noon and afternoon classes will run on regular schedule.   
  • Pleasanton ISD will delay the start of school by two hours on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Poteet ISD will start school on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Poth ISD will have a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Pre-K 4 SA will proceed with regular school hours on Jan. 17.
  • Premier High School of San Antonio East will be on a one-hour delay for students. Teachers and staff will report as normal on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Providence Catholic School will open at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17 and classes will begin at 10 a.m.
  • Rocksprings ISD will be on a two-hour delay for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School will resume normal schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17.  
  • San Antonio Christian School will resume normal schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • San Antonio ISD schools and offices will resume on a regular schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • San Felipe Del Rio CISD announced it will resume on a normal schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17 after driving conditions were determined to be safe.
  • San Marcos Academy will have a two-hour delayed start with classes starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • San Marcos CISD campuses and offices will be on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • School of Excellence in Education will resume at regular school time on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Seguin ISD schools and offices will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Shiner ISD will start school at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Somerset ISD schools and offices will be open on normal start times on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • South San ISD will be open on a normal schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Southside ISD will be open on a normal schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Southwest ISD will be open on a normal schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • Saint Mary's Hall classes will begin at noon tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD schools and offices will open on a regular schedule for Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • The School of Excellence in Education will be open on a normal schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • Stockdale ISD will have a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to inclement weather.
  • St. Anthony Catholic School will have a delayed start with doors opening at 11:45 a.m. for noon school day. Also, students may wear spirit shirt and jeans!
  • St. Luke's Episcopal School will run on a normal schedule tomorrow, Jan. 17.
  • St. Mary's University will be open for normal operations at 11 a.m. with classes resuming at 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
  • St. Luke's Episcopal School will run on a normal schedule tomorrow.
  • Texas A&M University-San Antonio will be open for normal operations on Wednesday, Jan. 17. 
  • TMI Episcopal will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to weather conditions.
  • Trinity University offices to open 11 a.m. tomorrow,  Jan. 17. Classes resume at 11:30 a.m.
  • UIW locations and clinics in San Antonio will be on a delayed start until noon on Wednesday, Jan. 17 for all students and employees. This includes Incarnate Word High School and Saint Anthony Catholic High School.
  • UTSA announced all of its campuses will delay opening until noon on Wednesday, Jan. 17 and classes will resume at that time.
  • Uvalde CISD will resume classes on a regular schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
