FORECAST
Good morning! Clouds are developing and we’ll see some overcast skies to start. These clouds should break up some, with temperatures on the mild side. Expect highs in the low-60s.
FOGGY MORNINGS
Both Friday and Saturday mornings, patchy dense fog will be possible. While the fog will lift by mid-morning, clouds may stick around through the day, keeping temperatures in the 60s.
WARM SUNDAY, THEN THE BOTTOM FALLS OUT
After some morning clouds, skies will clear by midday on Sunday. Temperatures will spike ahead of a significant cold front. Most places will reach the upper-70s. It turns windy and colder late in the day once the front arrives. By Monday morning, temperatures will fall into the 30s. Full sun on Monday will allow temperatures to rebound into the 50s.
POSSIBLE FREEZES TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY MORNINGS
A light freeze is possible all three days, mainly during the morning hours. Daytime highs will range from the 30s into the 40s. Bottom line: it’ll be cold for a few days and you’ll want to have your big coats ready to go!
WHAT ABOUT ANY WINTRY PRECIPITATION?
This is where the forecast gets tricky. Any clarity on what may unfold will probably have to wait until the weekend. There are different scenarios that could play out and for wintry weather to occur, several things have to come together. In other words, there’s a lot of moving parts. As of now, we have placed low chances for precipitation in the forecast for Wednesday into Thursday. Please continue to check back!
