  • SATURDAY: Morning fog & Drizzle, cloudy
  • SUNDAY: Damp morning with fog & drizzle, then sunny and windy

FORECAST

FOGGY MORNINGS, MILD AFTERNOONS

A bit of fog is possible tomorrow morning, but fog looks thicker and more widespread Saturday and Sunday mornings. Also, plan for drizzle and overall dampness each morning this weekend.

WARM SUNDAY, THEN THE BOTTOM FALLS OUT

After morning fog and drizzle on Sunday, skies will clear by midday with temperatures jumping into the mid/upper 70s ahead of the next cold front. Gusty winds Sunday afternoon will gradually usher in the colder air, and by Monday morning, temperatures will fall into the 30s. Full sun Monday and Tuesday will allow temperatures to rebound into the lower 50s, but then it turns colder for the middle and end of the work/school week.

POSSIBLE FREEZES TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY MORNINGS

A light freeze is likely every morning from Tuesday through Sunday, and daytime highs should only get into the upper 30s. Bottom line: we’re NOT expecting a deep or extended freeze, but it’ll be cold for a few days and you’ll want to have your big coats ready to go!

WHAT ABOUT ANY WINTRY PRECIPITATION?

This is where the forecast gets tricky. Any clarity on what may unfold will probably have to wait until the weekend. There are different scenarios that could play out and for wintry weather to occur, but many specific factors have to come together just right in order for that to happen. In other words, there’s a lot of moving parts. As of now, we have placed low chances for wintry precipitation in the forecast for Wednesday into Thursday. Please continue to check back!
