FORECAST
THIS WEEKEND
San Antonio faces a potential record-breaking Saturday as temperatures climb to an estimated 102°–103°. While a slight afternoon drop in humidity may provide a marginal reprieve for heat index values, the extreme heat poses a significant safety risk for outdoor activities, making precautions essential. There’s a 10%–20% chance of isolated afternoon showers or thunderstorms in parts of the Hill Country, with brief heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds possible.

Sunday will bring more of the same, with temperatures again expected to reach around 100° or higher. The atmosphere will be drier and less supportive of showers, so rain chances will be even lower than Saturday.
HEAT STICKS AROUND
The unrelenting heat wave is set to continue, as high pressure maintains triple-digit temperatures throughout the coming week with minimal precipitation expected to provide any cooling.
