Friends remember victim killed in barbershop attack on Northwest Side
SAN ANTONIO โ Friends of a victim tragically killed Wednesday in a barbershop attack on the Northwest Side want the community to know more about the life taken too soon. The Bexar County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 20-year old Evan OโRegan, but friends knew her as Helle Jae OโRegan. Luke Tyler and Harvest Barry stopped by the barbershop where OโRegan was killed to add flowers to the growing memorial. Stabbing leaves 2 adults, 13-year-old girl dead, in Central Texas
SAN SABA, Texas โ A stabbing left two adults and a 13-year-old girl dead in a home early Friday morning in the Central Texas town of San Saba, said Sgt. Bryan Washko, of the Texas Department of Public Safety. A 62-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were killed, Washko said. Washko didnโt know what the relationship was between the suspect and the victims and no motive has been established. San Saba is located 141 miles north of San Antonio.
14-year-old required emergency surgery after stabbing at Schertz playground, mom says
SCHERTZ, Texas โ A juvenile was stabbed during a fight Tuesday afternoon at the Schertz Playscape at 629 Westchester Drive, according to Schertz police. The Schertz Police Department received a call around 4:50 p.m. about a fight in progress at the playscape, but by the time officers arrived the fight was over. Police received a follow-up call from the parent of one of the teens saying her 14-year-old son had been stabbed at the playscape, according to a police news release. โHe had to have emergency surgery due to his intestines sticking out of his stomach,โ she said. Police: Man stabbed twice in the abdomen after fight breaks out
SAN ANTONIO โ A man was stabbed twice in the abdomen after getting into an argument, police say. Teen shot in Medical Center apartment, friend taken into custody, SAPD saysHowever, police say the stabbing happened at another location. The man got into a fight with another person, was stabbed by the suspect and then managed to get away, according to authorities. One injured in apartment complex shooting on West Side, police sayThe victim then went back to his home and called police. He was taken to University Hospital for treatment of injuries but is in stable condition.
SAPD: Woman stabs man during argument on South Side
SAN ANTONIO โ An argument ended with a man being stabbed and a woman arrested by police late Monday on the South Side. According to police, officers responded to a call around 11 p.m. for a cutting in the 1900 block of Lennon Avenue. Officers found a 31-year-old man with a stab wound to an arm and leg, police said. (KSAT)The woman, Cynthia Espinoza, 38, was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police at the scene said the victim tried to stop Espinosa, who was apparently intoxicated, from leaving with her kids when she stabbed him.
Police: Man stabbed on North Side
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police are are trying to sort out what happened after a man was stabbed overnight. The incident occurred just after 1:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Santa Monica on the cityโs North Side. According to police, the man was stabbed in the back by a woman who officers believe may have been protecting herself. Police said the man fled the original scene on foot, but was located a short time later. It is also unclear what, if any charges will be filed.
Man threatens woman with knife, ends up getting stabbed, arrested
SAN ANTONIO โ A man who police said put a knife to a woman's throat ended up getting stabbed by her and arrested. Police said the couple got into an argument around 1 a.m. at a home in the 7500 block of Old Corpus Christi Road when he threatened the woman with the knife. 18-year-old suspect arrested in North Star Mall stabbings that hospitalized 2 teensThe woman somehow got the knife away from him and used on him, police said. The man was treated for his injuries at the scene and taken into custody. It appears the woman isnโt going to be charged.
