SAPD: Man suspected of drunk driving ran red light, crashed into car; 3 women injured

SAN ANTONIO – Three women were sent to University Hospital after a suspected drunk driver crashed into their car early Saturday morning. 

According to San Antonio police, the driver of a pickup truck ran a red light at the intersection of Guadalupe and South Hamilton streets and crashed into the vehicle the women were in. 

One woman was ejected from the vehicle, police said. She is in serious condition.

Two other women suffered minor injuries. 

Police are working to charge the driver of the pick up truck with driving while intoxicated.
