SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a teen who ran away from home went right to a man who made her have sex for money with strangers.
Steven Sumlin, 39, is accused of having sex with the 16-year-old girl. She told police she considered him a boyfriend.

Police said Sumlin put an ad on an online escort service site, and the teen was one of his alleged sex workers.
The girl told police Sumlin would drive her to hotels, where she would meet with clients and then give him the money they paid her.
Sumlin is charged with sexual assault of a child and continuous trafficking of a person.
