SAN ANTONIO – The snowstorm that crippled the Northeast U.S. also hampered the travel plans for Reps. Beto O’Rourke and Will Hurd.
The men had planned to fly back to the nation’s capital, but their flights were canceled. So the pair rented a car Tuesday morning in San Antonio and hit the road to Washington, D.C.

O’Rourke, a Democrat, and Hurd, a Republican, are streaming the trip on Facebook Live and hosting virtual town hall meetings, answering questions along the way.
So far the two have discussed health care and veterans care. They have also experienced some technical issues trying to learn how to best use Facebook Live.
In one video, Hurd, whose district represents a portion of San Antonio, said he hopes people can see that “You can disagree without being disagreeable.”
