SAN ANTONIO – University of Texas at San Antonio students pitched their prototypes Tuesday in San Antonio for a chance to win startup funds.
The event at the Convocation Center was part of the $100,000 Student Technology Venture Competition.

With guidance from local business professionals, students combined their technical and entrepreneurial skills all semester to create marketable prototypes.
They came up with some pretty cool products including a self-driving, GPS-programmable wheelchair, a drone submersible drone and a hand-held cavity detector.

Students had five minutes to pitch their ideas to a panel of entrepreneurs.
The winners were announced shortly afterward.
