A big topic was the birth of his daughter, Quill.
“She is here,” Duncan said, when asked about preparing for his new role. “She was born about a week ago.”
Duncan said his daughter’s name, Quill, was a combination of two things he and his girlfriend appreciate.
He said Quill is a character in "Guardians of the Galaxy" but also Vanessa enjoys writing so the name also harked a quill pen.
Thank you for the love and thoughts welcoming our little soul-changer, Quill.

The former Spurs player also opened up about life after the NBA. He said he works out in the morning and goes to his car shop in the afternoon. He also said he enjoys stopping by the Spurs' practice facility.
“I retired at the right time,” Duncan said. He also said he does not regret a farewell tour, like other NBA players.
“I am not really built for a farewell tour,” he said to laughter. “I had the option for one more and after the last playoff game I was like, ‘Yeah, that is about right.’”
