SAN ANTONIO – A man is recovering at an area hospital after he was hit by a car on the city's North Side, San Antonio police said Thursday.
The accident occurred just after 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 8200 block of Gault Lane, found not far from Broadway and Loop 410.
Police said the victim had stepped onto the street when a car hit him. The driver failed to stop and render aid to the victim, police said.
The man hit could not give a description of the car involved in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
