BCSO seeking wanted suspect who removed ankle monitor

Richard Lopez, 35, could be using ‘various aliases’

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help locating a suspect who they said removed his ankle monitor.

Richard Lopez, 35, is wanted for a slew of charges, including attempted sexual assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a BCSO Facebook post said.

All of the charges Lopez is wanted for are a result of a current investigation, the post said.

BCSO said Lopez could be using “various aliases” but did not elaborate.

Anyone with information about Lopez’s whereabouts is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 210-335-6000. Callers can remain anonymous.
