Smithson Valley boys’ golf captures its first-ever UIL state title
The Smithson Valley boys’ golf team won the UIL Class 5A boys golf state championship this week. The Rangers had a two-day score of 572, finishing 14 strokes ahead of second place. They were also the only team to finish under par. Ranger senior Ryan Griff finished second in individual play.
